Nothing custom. Not yet anyway. Almost everything is AP. I had some minor damage from an accident. Wanted a shop to be the one to do all the work and milk the insurance for more cash. In the process of looking for a shop that would fix the damage and do all the upgrades I found them and they had the best quote.
They do amazing custom work though. They put out some massive custom lifts and show trucks.
They are pissed right now, all my stuff came in FINALLY from powdercoat. But for whatever reason they didn't do my skid plate. My name sure is fitting for all the trouble this build has been so farimage.jpg

Are you at BAE? I don't know any other buildings with that height, around here.

Question is why not All Pro. Comes down to personal preference in the end. Lots of good companies out there now. I like the look of their armor. Their LT kit is the same as total chaos but it's cheaper.

Total Chaos and All Pro are definitely not the same product.

Pretty significant difference between the two products once they are in your hand. There is a reason All Poo earned the reputation of pulling apart/ folding in on itself.

My thoughts as well. Total Chaos has built a pretty decent reputation in the desert racing community.

From what I was told they are damn near the same. Use mostly the same specs, components and so on. I went with AP vs TC because of the cost for "same product". I'm in no way a expert on this stuff hence using a shop for most of this build, that's just what I was told.

Ya that's how I stumbled across them. And the fact I saw a lot of their stuff when I lived in Cali about an hour away from them.

Like I said. I'm no expert in this area. I had most of the stuff/requirements I wanted picked out, went to get some quotes, was told things wouldn't work with my Baja, replacements were found, options were laid out, and I just went with the advice I was given. I'll find out soon enough how it holds up.

Unless you beat the hell out of it, you'll probably be fine with AP

My thoughts exactly. Not looking to prove my manhood on crazy trails. Just want to be able to have fun and take some overland trips across North America.
