USAA rocks, State Farm is solid. I have American Family, and they cover everything without question. Easiest claim process in the world, and fast payouts.

 

@Techoma Don't I have to be a certain age to join USAA?

 

You have to be be in or served in the military, or have a direct family member who served.

 

Leaning towards @snowtank 's sister..err I mean insurance carrier.

I've never applied not being in the military, but I think your grandfather had to be a USAA member first or have some kinda proof he served. Maybe his DD214? I'm not sure.

 

Does she get commission for new clients? If she does I'll contact her directly instead of the office number listed. Also would she know if I told her "snowtank referred me to you"?

Just got off the phone with State Farm and it turns out that I do have this exact same coverage through them and didn't know it! Haha my dumb ass paying and not even knowing what I have. Anything that is "permanently installed" will be covered in the event of a collision, but I think things such as light bars, hi-lift mounts etc. will not be covered unless it was theft. But I'm not too sure still.


On another note, anyone know about what the average cashback amount is that windshield replacement companies give us for our trucks if we go through insurance? Mine has a chip that's been annoying me lately.

 

I thought in AZ you get one free windshield a year or something.

 

Not when you have full glass. I go through a windshield or 2 a year.
