    It's actually a white carbon fiber wrap but the silver piece does come off. Use a plastic trim tool and pull straight up.

    Well, I almost screwed it up. Standard 5 pole relay. Power from the switch to terminal 85. Terminal 86 to ground. Constant 12v to rock lights. Ground from lights to terminal 30. terminal 87a to dome trigger. 87 to ground. when dome lights turn on, 87a is grounded, turning lights on. When switch is turned on, 87 is now connected to 30, completing the ground path.

    I knew what I wanted to do. Just stumbled trying to figure out the wiring. I am not used to using the relay for switching ground. I always use relays to switch power.

    Sorry if this is common knowledge but, I went to auto zone a few days ago to get a Haynes manual for my 2013 and they told me that it was only available on cd and was like $200. I went home and went to the Haynes website and found this. $20

    Original Tacoma: 6" lift, air bags in the rear, 17x9.5 XD Series rims w/ 35" Cooper STT Pro tires. Body Armor rear bumper with swing arm tire mount, TRD Exhaust, URD True Cold Air intake, TRD Front Brakes, RIGID INDUSTRIES grill and LED bar installed in it, LED Rear Lights, TracRack rack system, tool box. Sold the truck. Bought 2016 ram 2500 Laramie diesel. (7/2016) Picked up 97 Tacoma 4x4 Extended Cab 3.4L. Building motor now. (8/2017)
    Removed bull bar and got rid of all chrome.

    Converting to all black. :) headlights next.
