coincidentally this is not the coilover we discussed last week with the rusty shaft. Go figure that one is fine.

Hmm, I'm not sure what spring rate to suggest with that sweet V8 you have but - Stock 2nd gen tacos need 600's and your T4R is the exact same truck fron the front doors forward so if you had the V6 I would say the same 600's. Do you know what the weight of the V8 is vs the V6 ? I believe Micah @Downsouth Motorsports has told us the rule of thumb is to go 50lbs up to a 650 for 150lbs of extra weight...so if the V8 is 100-150 lbs more then a 650 would make sense.

Does icon make their own springs now? When I got my coil overs with 700lb springs they just installed Eibachs. :notsure:

Hey everyone I need some help figuring out if I should go to a 2+ lt or stay mid travel. Current have extended icons, TC UCA's and super bumps and although it's really good just feel like I want more. I drive fire roads and trails some crawling and some small whoops like half a foot tall to a foot tall. I don't mind spending the money on a 2+ kit but if I could save some by not doing it that's great to! The rear is going to be BAMF shock towers, shackle flip, air bumps and custom alcans. Do you think I should go with the 2+ or just stay mid travel?

Stay mid-travel, spend some time and money tuning. Whole lot of money for 2-3" travel gain.

I used to think the same thing but the 2-3" of travel & wider stance really feels good. If you don't mind running glass fenders and do not already have reg width plate bumpers etc just go straight to a 3.5 kit.
