Mine are weld on. I simply wash them and then spray paint where it needs. Only takes a couple minutes

 

You'll be touching them up about once a month, just FYI. At least I am..

 

That's what im trying to avoid by using the herculiner. Touch em up maybe once a year.

 

Yeah that may be a bit tougher. Spray at least 4 coats of what ever you use before you put them on though

 

I'm kind of a fan of the less labour intensive approach even if it means a higher upfront cost but I'll have to do a little more research before deciding which way to go.

 

Depends a lot on tires, tire width, and wheels. Mud terrains tend to kick up more rocks (except for @Greddy's BFG KO2's which kicks up every rock the tires touch), you'll be touching them up at least a few times a year if you want them to look clean, everyone does. In the summer I touch them up after every trip

 

I just got lucky and traded a round of golf, for a gallon of herculiner from @BaconMcChuggins a few summers ago. Finally found a use for it, and i'll have a ton left over for other stuff and touch up.

That's what I dig about them high school chicks man....I get older...they stay the saaaame age.

 

They looked at me funny when I asked for directions... Not sure if it was the grey sweatpants or the wifebeater I was wearing.

 

How much will they charge to get the sliders welded on at NR? I need to get mine done as well.

 

Those look to be bolt on. Or am I seeing them wrong? Usually you don't put the legs on until you are welding them on.

 

Yea they're bolt ons but I made a very last minute decision to get them welded on. It shouldn't be a problem for them weld it if the legs are already on right?

 

So I guess me, Greddy, and Cory have to be at the back of the line when a group goes from trail to pavement then....
