    When you're welding them on you want the fit to be perfect so that's why you would test fit them with the legs off first. But yeah, you want the legs welded on the sliders completely prior to welding them to the frame. I'm getting my sliders welded on this Sunday.

    Yup! Went to Nisqually wetlands to take some bird pics, then installed my Firestik on relentless hood mount. 1.5 SWR on 1 and 40. Victory! Did external ground cuz I didn't want to grind the powder coat. Sandwiched the ground between the flat washer and the nylon washer. Continuity tested at 2 OHMs, so pretty good connection.image.jpg

    hahaha grown ass man driving to his mom's to get his mail that's great! @JDAM tried to use straps at my shop a few weeks ago, didn't work well so he made a custom one.

    I'd stay away from Darrington area. Warm weather = avalanches and mud slides, thats one of the most prone areas in Washington for land slides. We gotta take a trip to the land slide @Greddy and I found last year this summer, Bigger than the Oso one but hardly any one knows about this one
