Had the frame replaced in my 05 ac 4x4 last spring, when they did it they wouldn't replace the springs because I had an add a leaf. I told them just put new springs in but they said no. Dealer put new springs in bed when I picked it up (3 pack).
I was going to install my self but figured I'd wait until the recall with new 4pack springs.
Today I called dealer about the spring recall they said it didn't apply to my vehicle.
Does this sound right? I live in NJ

    No recall listed
Hopefully its just because they aren't to nj yet.
    Thanks

If not you should be able to get some take off 4 leaf packs from someone upgrading for probably $100.

If you checked the site and the recall is not listed then your truck is not part of the leaf recall.

All affected trucks have been identified regardless of where you live.

You can install your 3 leaf + your AAL

Prob will see if I can get a new set from someone here.
I just thought I would be in the recall since they gave me a new set of the old style 3pack.
    Mine are flat!:(

The 3 leaf is almost as strong as the 4 leaf. Most 3 leaf were a bad batch. If you are not planning on overloading the rear suspension with a huge load in your bed I wouldn't worry about it.

Use truck for side jobs sometimes.
Fill it up with tools, lumber, cement bags.
Going to call toyo corp again but not expecting much.
If I cant get anything from them then just will replace on my own.

They designed the leafs to be flat, so that specific complaint won't get you anywhere.

You should buy a 4 leaf take off or aftermarket leaf pack if you use it for work - the 4 leaf isn't without the same problems, anyway. They just aren't as noticeable as the 3 leaf because they're a little taller.

Update on my spring situation - Called dealer who did my spring they told me the issue was rectified, when I asked what that meant she could not tell me.
Called toyo corp tonight after explaining my story the rep told me in the computer that this was resolved 3/7 WTF. I told her that was crazy my truck hasn't been to the dealer in about a year. She connected me to another rep who said dealer stated spring issue was resolved. I explained that they never put springs in my truck.
So she is going to open a case and call the dealer to see what is going on. I asked if I could go to another dealer to do springs if they were going to be replaced but was told prob not because I had to work with original dealer. (they suck not saying all dealers do just this one).
Told I would get a call back within 48hrs.

Well today the dealer who did my frame replaced my leafs with the 4 pack.
When I dropped it off they were so confused that I had the new leafs in the bed of truck.
Picked it up after work all went good. Def rides better.
Have to laugh because they told me 3 times that I need front breaks.
Funny because I put them in myself last year.
