Colorado but bought it in IL. The wiper switch I put in myself; it's literally plug and play. There's a really good thread on here detailing the install, took all of 5 minutes.

not much will change until 1st refresh which should be about 3-4 years after the initial release and then again about every 3-4 years after that.

The price for the premium and tech packages doesn't match whats on the price list on the first page. I'm in Texas so perhaps it varies by state?

Yeh it varies by time and place. Also, i even found simple clicking mechanics can alter price.

For example, when i priced out a fully loaded or trd it came in around 37k. If i down graded it to an sr5 with many simlar options it only went down to about 34k.
However, if i priced it out from an sr then bumped it up to an sr5 the same exact build was coming in around 33k.

Dont use this tool for pricing, just use it to see configuration options.

Spent 2 visits and 3 plus hours negotiating a price at dealer A (mentioned in prior post in this thread). Just for the heck of it checked out what the COSTCO no-haggle or negotiating deal was at dealer B...within a few hundred bucks. They unofficially claim it's $750 over invoice for any level of trim or options on the Tacoma.

TOTALLY worth it if you are getting a Sport/Offroad/Limited, and especially if you want load up on accessories.

I paid $23000.00 flat... for my SR Double cab 2.7 4 cylinder. installed cruise control myself (OEM) and also got an aftermarket keyless entry. I think I got a great deal :)

option/accessory pricing that I have given is what Toyota charges. regional pricing for those on invoice and msrp can vary wildly from region to region. from what I have seen accessory invoice pricing is always higher than what Toyota charges each regional port. regional ports raise the invoice pricing so they can make money charging the dealer.

from history, most regional and dealer wont go over Toyota MSRP on stuff.

Does anyone know the difference in the trd 4x4 OR vs Sport?. They are the same price but the Off-road of course has the better suspension, tires, and locker.

Does the Sport have anything that the OR doesn't?.. I can't find this anywhere. It's driving me nuts. I bought a sport since I needed a LB and didn't want to order but I didnt think they were listed as the same price...how?

Yeh they are the same price and the OR comes more equipped for off roading and the sport is better for people who spend their time on the highway. Bigger wheels, road oriented suspension. OR definitely a better value with the elocker IMO but some dont want that bouncy OR suspension i guess

Need a favor! Can someone (or several) take a photo of their 16 that shows the tint of the privacy glass in the back windows? (See my sample).

I'm trying to determine if I received the standard privacy glass (no additional dealer tint)
Or if I got the $399 dealer installed tint...

Depending on how this turns out, there's gonna be a problem...
