I remember when @jacob_wood didn't tighten his lugs after a mod day and his tire fell off on the freeway. I think he tried blaming another member, but ultimately took blame for not double checking. Plus there was a picture of him putting that tire back on lol

Nah he just got busy and stopped going on. I think he was active on 120. Really cool kid actually.

But really, can you blame someone for not wanting to come back here? lol with all of the BS and douchery, but I digress. He probably wanted a more 4runner-focused forum

 

I've had a rim fall off on me. Back when the San Mateo bridge was 2 lanes on each side and no emergency lane. Not fun!!! One time I asked a shop worker if he could Torque the wheels, he said " there on there tight bro" in my head I'm thinking... That's what I'm worried about!!! Lazy ass!!

Yea I agree with the above statement. This is a mod day among friends, nobody here is a certified tech that can extend any responsibility or warranty. If the owner of a truck allows someone to work on their truck, they understand the risks involved. Shit happens, you should always check your truck anyways after anyone else touches it. I'm a pretty good wrench turner myself, but I tell people, I work on my truck all day long, but I understand if something happens, its my fault and i accept that. If I work on your truck and I miss something, it is your responsibility to point out what I missed BEFORE you drive away. Don't just assume everyone that shows proficiency on mechanical stuff to be perfect it at it. Shit slips by all the time. That being said, at the very least I always check my lugs these days lol.

 

I am so excited for tomorrow. Making all the pies after my 9pm class not so much

I'll take a mug, sure! I've tried Not your fathers and found it a bit to sweet. I'm partial to the Coney Island root beer currently, but I've only tried the two

 

But as great as the hard root beers are, the hangovers from them SUCK. It's SOOO much sugar! Last time at hollister I had two of them while we were cooking and combined with the smoke from the campfire, had a migraine in about 2 hours. Haven't had that issue with the Coney Islands yet
