Then go with a p-rated 265 tire if gas mileage is a concern

You don't put 275/285 with lifts for improved gas milage. It's all about looks and OR possible needs. For Gas milage, power concerns, gotta keep it closer to stock for that

That's clearly goes without saying. What I'm trying to say is that you are posting in a thread about 275 tires worrying about fuel economy. Not quite sure I follow

Keeping it closer to stock with a lift will be a 275 tires versus 285 ;)

I just went with 275's, Did the Cooper Discoverer S/T and in my opinion looks fucking awesome. Load range C and "only" 50 pounds.

    Did you have mud flaps?

Like traditional hanging mud flaps? No, truck didn't come with them. I still have the black liner in the wheel well though, no rubbing at full lock to the left or the right.

Take that lame ass flap off. It seems like some trucks have them and some don't.

That black wheel well lining is very thin, it was the first thing I checked after install. I'm about a 1/4" shy of rubbing at full lock either direction. Off road I'll need to be mindful!!!

Icon stage 1 should be arriving next week. Still trying to decide if I should level it or purchase the aal in conjunction with the front. I called Icon today and they said people are only seeing about a 1" front lift out of the box on the 2016s. Thoughts anyone?

Truck looks great, can't go wrong with Method NVs on a Tacoma. Nice work.

None that I've noticed. However, I haven't been off road yet. And I'm having my 5100s put on today. Just trying to decide if I want to go with .85 or 1.75 to level out the front.

If you're only driving on the street without a lift I'm guessing you'd be fine but any off-roading and you're going to rub. I was rubbing with a Toytec Boss lift after my first alignment on the rear of the front wheel well tuning into something that flexed the suspension. After second alignment with caster at 3.6 & 3.5 seems good to go image.jpg

Thanks for the insight. As we spoke on your thread. Leaning toward the Boss Kit with 275.
