What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

purchased a new 7-pin trailer harness adapter since i smashed the tar out of mine. most boring $170 i've put into this truck so far.

Which one did you go with?

 

Painted engine cover version 2.0. Used duplicolor wheel paint since I already had it, silver with graphite in the centre section.

Did your truck come with the tow package from the factory? I would love to add this if it's possible, I just have a four pin that I got from the autoparts store

 

Self service spray wash this morning. A lot of muck from snow melt.

WHERE IS THIS GROUP BUY!? I don't see it.

 

It was just the two of us drivers. I came out with a sprained thumb and a sliped vertabrea that i deal with on a daily basis. I dont know if he suffered much in injuries. both of us walked away from the drivers seats without being cut out so that was a good thing.
His BMW was a little worse looking then mine.

Safe to say that he didn't stop?! Or did he stop but went anyway thinking he could make it in front of you?

 

He did a rolling stop (semi driver by trade) and glanced right and went. forgot to look or couldn't see through the huge pillar on his BMW x5. Thats where I was .... figure under 100y if not 50y. I had maybe 20y of skid marks and I have amazingly fast reaction time due to salmon fishing and bowhunting.

I am at 3 years in May and I still cant bend over properly. I was super active before this and I WAS a welder. I am now, ironically (could be the proper use of the word), a Semi driver that drives big trucks for a company named Sanjel. This has allowed me to make enough money again to buy my tacoma and work on it. Love this company and how they treat me. Great people.

 

DANG MAN! That sucks... but glad to hear nothing much worse happened.
