Do you happen to have the complete 2012+ steering wheel/airbag etc ready to bolt on? I'd like to put one in my 2009. Let me know.

Sooooo, you still have the steering wheel? I'd like to put it on my 08 if the column splines are the same. I'll score the airbag and the base trim parts minus controls somewhere else. I won't be using any steering wheel controls. Only thing I would want to move over would be the oem cruise control stalk. I think I see the same mounting points for that in one of the pics.

I want to end up with this wheel with cc.........

Can a 2012 OEM steering wheel be swapped into an 07? I remember looking into this a while back and finding out that to get all the controls working you had to choose a specific model year, but I can't seem to find that right now.

I don't see why not. but I know the bigger the year model gap, the harder time you will have getting the audio controls to fully operate. this is why I chose the 12-13 model controls over the 14-15 version. you can tell the difference easily, the ones you prolly want will have all square buttons, and not the diamond shaped buttons. I think even the diamond ones would work mechanically, but they would not light up. personally I like the cleaner look of the 12-13 better, those extra buttons just look messy and out of place. I believe the 14-15 version is what they use on the 16 3rd gen as well.

if you look at the interior on my build thread, there is almost nothing you cant swap out and make work, except the cluster electronics but you can still replace the faceplate.

    12-13

Thanks for the info! I already have an aftermarket headunit, so I think I should be able to get the audio controls working if I just get an adapter for the year vehicle the steering wheel was taken from. I'll have to do further research though.
