Took delivery today and drove it back to TN from IN.

 

Posting some updated photos for you guys... just wanted to say thanks for all the ideas, and most of all the folks that post information on the best places to get stuff. So far from Tacomaworld I was able to get Mud Guards (62.50) when they weren't available anywhere... picked up my TRD Grill emblem (7.95) and went with the red thick plastic lettering (24.95) on the tailgate after seeing a white 1967 Chevrolet pick up with classic red tailgate letters. On all my purchases that I have received the information from here they all came in within days of ordering and the quality was a lot better than expected for sure. Other things that I added were the Undercover SE, Weather Tech Mats, bed mat, Exhaust tip, running boards, Roll Tide License plate covers from the wife, Alabama coasters in all the cup holders, and my Scarecrow of Romney Marsh I downloaded from the internet, and some Safeway Totes for groceries in the bed... Love my truck, had a ton of issues with the dealership in Olympia, they still owe me 2 work orders that explain what they did to it, but figured I would post it on yelp when I get to it. Just an update for you all...Cosmetically, I am done with mods.......I think lol. Last on the list is to install my Clazzio see covers which are scheduled to arrive mid-March.

 

Here is my new truck. A TRD Off-Road with the awesome manual transmission. Also spec'd out the black interior because I have a deep hatred for grey interiors.

First mod was to plastidip the grill to flat black to match the front bumper and fenders. I'm much, much happier with the looks of the truck now.

I had to wait three months for mine too, but it was well worth the wait, loving mine!

 

Hopefully I can get a few pics of it clean for once this weekend. Hard to keep it out of the dirt! Love this truck.

 

I walk out my front door every morning for work and see the sunshine rays glistening on my 2016 and angels singing. Makes me smile every time.

 

Toyota Super White has historically been a single stage paint Meaning there is no clear coat. Is this still the case?

 

Had mine for a few months now but hadn't been in the woods with it. Figured id just use my 2002 Tacoma for that. BUT, that "itch" finally got me..had to try it out. Nothing big, but it was fun. Crawl and MTS are very interesting. I stopped, sat in the mud for a few minutes and was able to get out without engaging 4WD. Just used ALSD. But when I was in 4L, it was strong. Im happy with it.
