I could have sworn you had ratchet straps on the coils at some point and they decompressed suddenly. Either way you got a set made for kings now.

Alright guys. My friend and I are pretty much new to off roading in WA even though we lived here for decades. We've been wheelin' twice and both times were at Tahuya and we loved it. Out of curiosty, Are there any other trails similar to Tahuya? We are trying to avoid the crazy ones out there with the rock climbing and what not due to the fact that we only have a 2 inch lift.

Have you looked at the trails listed at http://www.nwjeepn.com/WAtrails.htm ? Good resource.

You should join us on a run. There's usually enough variety and alternate routes that you aren't forced into something that you aren't ready for, as long as you're relatively prepared.

Agreed! Great to have a buddy near by! Don't feel like I live on the moon now.

That site has some great info, but I don't think there's anything quite like Tahuya. Maybe some of the Liberty trails? I don't know. Tahuya is very entry level, and I feel most other places around here (Evans, Reiter, Naches) are quite a bit more substantial.

Evans has some pretty tame trails for beginners but they aren't very long, so you won't spend much time on them.

I have checked that website but I was just wondering if there were any other trails out there that are fairly easy incase if they forgot to post them up.

When's the next wheelin' trip? I'm down to go and I'am pretty sure some of my friends will want to tag along too. Getting my new suspension setup installed this weekend so hopefully I can go off roading soon.

There's a couple folks talking about doing something Sunday I think... it's within the last few pages.

I'm also curious, when's the next big one? Any interest in a 28 rig run to Tahuya?

I'd be down for an over nighter to tahuya, when it dries up a bit or a weekend with nice weather.

Sub'd. After two years rolling a stocker and hitting up the mountains for snowboarding, I finally got my truck lifted and interested in see what this thing can REALLY do. Looking forward to running into some of you in the future...
