Camping is limited also. I've got the stuff in my PMs with the guys. I'm at work on my phone but camping is tricky with people numbers and vehicles

That's what I figured. Sucks that another event popped up when we were hoping to go. If only they could have had their calendars up to date...

Hmm i was going to go but might be more of a hassle with needing two groups.Id kind of figured actual wheeling could be two groups (since im sure some people will want medium trails vs others wanting harder) but sucky on the camping part.

I guess put me down as a maybe right now

There isn't any bigger camp area around?

It would be awesome if we could make it like a mini rock therapy. People sign up for trails on what ever day and just make the limit 10 trucks per trail. We all want different levels.

Tsf isn't that big.. lol you either start close to camp and drive out, or start out from camp amd work your way in. Two trails are wayyyyy out there, one actually is by itself on the other side of the highway even. This will most likely be a two group thing, amd we will cross paths in the middle.

I think this solidifies that I'll be going out to TSF tomorrow to take pics/videos of the camping spots. Saturday is dry looking so might even ride out on the bike - any excuse, right? :D

Mike! Maybe cruise some FS roads that have landings or pull outs that maybe we can free camp in? Or maybe down at gales?

OK, so I'm a little confused on what you were thinking, but that does bring up good points that we might get clarification on with the FSD:
    • Camping needs to follow the max truck/person limit. There are some dispersed first come, first served places that are highly popular and remote from the main camp. Dubious if they would fit everyone, for that matter. I'm sure we could split campers into several spots, yet socialize together just fine.
    • Group size for wheeling is 10 vehicles per group, but you can do multiple groups. Should be no probs there, though some of us TSF meet vets want to hang together if possible - we don't get much time to hang in person, so this is our reunion and it just isn't the same if some of the guys aren't there to sing Love Hurts with me out on the trail :rockband:

Ugh, I'm tempted to go back and look at post 1 and see about cleaning it up... but not tonight, otherwise I'll be up for 2 hours tweaking on it.

I haven't been, but I was wondering myself. There's also
    Jones Creek Campground
Jordan Creek Campground (which probably fills with dirtbikers)
    Diamond Mill Campground
This interesting find, which is pretty far south
    Reehers camp??

Also, I found the rules about group camping. I'm really surprised there's abilities to reserve! However, it looks like the group site (sites?) are booked that weekend Thursday - Sunday

Trask can make it bigger, but I don't know my way around real well. I don't remember there being any large dispersed group opportunities. Also, the ways I know in/out are either Stick in the Nose or Carlton. It kinda makes the event elite if you have to get to camp via a designated trail, or makes it so you have a pretty serious drive getting through to the major trail areas (though there are some pretty cool ones out in Trask)
