I just got my 16 dclb trd or. My dealer had 19 tacomas in stock with most every color and opinions on them. I don't understand why I keep hearing that people are waiting for months for one.

 

Look through this long thread, page by page, and you'll find several guys who have waited three, four, even five long months for the DCLB 4x4 (I'm one of them) Where are you located? California seems barred from that configuration, and folks in Texas seem to be waiting a long time. Read the posts, and you'll find some people to commiserate with, and maybe a helpful tip or two

 

So last night I was bored and looking at the website for my dealer to see what they had in stock. I come across one that looks pretty similar to mine. I'm thinking it must be a manual transmission or something because otherwise it was identical. I look at the stock number and it looks familiar. I check the VIN and it matches mine. I'm like WTF? I call them and they say that mine is still scheduled to be in next week. Why do you have it listed on your website then? Oh, we list all vehicles that are scheduled to come in. What?? That little episode got me all excited that maybe I could pick it up today... But no....

 

My dealership actually did that with mine too. I think there is an automatic system they have in place that lists everything coming in even if it's already spoken for. On my truck it did say 'deposit taken' on it though which was nice.

 

That is the sense I get as well. When I get some time I will go through the posts. I live 3 hours from Reno, which I think is in another Toyota region. I reached out to a dealer there and was told that they could have one for me in 8-12 weeks. Looks like I might be starting the process over again.

 

Those vehicles listed as in stock get people to visit the dealership...

 

Hope they don't want to test drive it.

Here is what I saw. Funny that the photo is an OR, but it's actually a Sport.

 

Just picked mine up on 2/25... TRD Off Road Black... coming from a 2013 TRD Off Road Grey... I ordered mine in early January and it was well worth the wait!!!

 

Ordered a BBP sport MT with P/T on Dec 30. Was initially told end of Feb beginning of March. Now, it is estimated at the port on 4/26. Dealer did not have build date or VIN.

 

My truck is now in Vancouver WA. 2 hrs from me and 3 hrs from the dealer. Hopefully it doesn't take until the 2nd to go 3 hrs. 3/2 is my current ETA.

 

Well I'm done on this site took delivery yesterday. What a great Truck none of the issues that have been aired here ...yet. Hang in there guys they are worth the wait The new Tacoma is a runner and Quite and those guys a Car & Driver must have num asses from all their test rides ...this is a well built comfortable ride with great seats THEY ARE WORTH THE WAIT. See you all on the Tech pages!!

 

Waiting on my TRD OR DCSB, BBP. Was supposed to be here this week, of course didn't happen. By 03 MAY is what I'm being told now. I guess we'll see.

My Inferno SR5 was assembled yesterday, now the waiting gets more fun!

 

Nice. Mine is also scheduled for delivery to Vancouver, WA 3/2-3/7. Luckily I live in Vancouver. Can't wait! I should cruise by the dealer and see if they have arrived... Hmmmm...

 

Mine was in Vancouver yesterday headed to Bremerton. If I were I would check with your dealership cause your truck may be there early.
