Can't see well at night

I've noticed that the headlights on my "new" 2002 seem kinda dim. Hard to see under normal conditions and forget it when it rains. The headlight lenses are fogged a little and I bought a Turtle Wax lens cleaner kit to try 1st. I would expect that would help some, but I'm guessing not enough. I don't know whether I can just get better "bulbs" or need to try something else.

Also, I'd like to install some fog lights and like the "built in" look. What are my options? I've got a 2002 SR5 4X4 Ext cab.

Not so much yellow as a little hazy. I actually got the lense cleaner kit for my son's '98 Maxima and my daughter's '01 Altima.

 

Spend some time on the lens with the polish. It's going to take some elbow grease. Good luck.

 

Yeah...Polish the lenses, get some new bulbs (they dim as time goes on) or switch up to some HIDs.

No idea what you can do about fogs....

 

Replace them with HID's. It's a whole new driving expierence.

what does it take to install the hid's?? is it plug and play....or is there a good bit more involved?

 

plug and play. took me 40 minutes to do headlights and fogs.

As for fog lights theres a thread on TTORA where someone added hella 550 fogs where your blinkers are on the bumper, and he rewired the blinkers to the corner lamps.

Ok, I think I found my answer...need H4 hi/lo bulbs for headlights and H10 for fogs? That sound about right?

Bi-Xenon H4 is what you'd need for the lights, H10 for the fogs (non-bixenon)
