Once again, my AUX port has stopped working. Its not the fuse, seeing as the power outlets still work. Having to replace it for a second time seems odd to me. I'm considering doing a soldering it, as seen in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpQhX7fvjko I am not sure how long this quick fix will last. Any suggestions? Will soldering the faulty AUX port really fix the problem long term?

I've used a windows phone with it and an andriod phone. I haven't tried an ipod/iphone/ipad with it yet.

I was asking because if you used an ipod / iphone I was going to suggest just getting a USA Spec , really like mine more than I did using the aux input

Followed the instructional video above, and now my AUX port works again.
WP_20151227_17_48_52_Pro.jpg Very quick fix, we'll see how long it lasts.

They come up for sale in the BST occasionally but the PA-15 Toy is the one I have

Get a new radio period. Mine in my 2010 isn't that great. If it's 70+ degrees outside the Damn thing cuts in and out and when you first crank the truck up it throws gang signs

Yeah it doesn't work that well in warm-hot weather.

Had a new problem yesterday. The radio was changing stations on its own.

So, 6+ months later and the soldering job has held up just fine.
