I am amazed teams keep letting him go. Not that he is a world beater, but he is tough, works his ass off, can score some goals and is good value.

The Oil were busy today. Too bad all they could grab was a couple of 3rd round picks.

 

Purcell also got a 3rd round pick - from the Panthers. Boy oh boy........Oilers, and draft picks!!!! Plan the fucking Stanley Cup Parade now!!!! _sigh_

I wonder if he's still happy that he didn't go to the Ducks? Maybe, considering the contract the Oilers gave him.

 

LOL, yeah I have the same thoughts. I'm wondering if Toronto is keeping so many picks, they have over a dozen in this draft, so they can move up and get maybe 6 picks in the first 3 rounds. Maybe the Oil can bundle those 3rd round picks with a player to get back a decent D man?

Schultz was a total bust!! He had an amazing time when he first entered the fold. But plummeted like a stone since. He's been total garbage.

One can only hope. I hate having draft picks. After 10 years in the toilet.....I don't even want to see another NHL Draft. I want the Oilers to bundle all of them - including their 1st pick.....for real hockey players.
