Been doing it this way since the 80s with sealed batteries, I`m not new at this. But thanks for the concern.

Why don't you put the 2nd battery under the hood?

Hope it's tied down really well. There are cases of sub boxes hitting people's heads and killing them during roll over accidents. Looks like the same could happen here.

You didn't think I was really going to leave it as it was did you ? :D I read these forums before I ever joined, I have seen many on here that find enjoyment being a critique of everything that everyone does. I had to have a little fun.:p

 Well played. You have schninigan-proofed yourself this time....but we'll be waiting.

I did nothing memorable or picture worthy today except check that my side step bolts were still tight....wouldn't want a preying 3rd gen'r skewping up some free side steps in the middle of the freeway.

Looks cool. How does it vent outside the cab? Is there a vent hose?

I cut a huge hole in the back of the cab and connected pvc pipe to the lid to vent the fumes out because I was afraid that sealed battery might just kill me.

I went with the standard color as opposed to the full piping or half piping. Someone else on here has some similar covers with the piping and it looks sharp as well. The inside color is #11 charcoal. I just told them in the notes that I wanted the TRD Off Road (in black) custom graphics because i did not see them in their catalog. Other guy has the TRD without Off Road and again that looks good as well. I got the map pocket on both sides as well as the sunglass pocket. My truck has manual lumbar and heated seats so I opted out on those. They are 100% neoprene. Pretty easy to install and should protect the seats for a long long time.

I finished debadging her. Previously removed the TRD Sport sticker and today the V6 and Tacoma emblems. Much cleaner look and a little easier to keep those areas polished going forward.

Traded a fellow TW member this brand new Rad Industries grill for my SR5 grill straight across. I was on the fence between this grill and BAMF and luckily had this deal came across. I really dig the look this has and the fit and finish is absolutely awesome. Easy and very secure install also. Early releases of this grill had the bottom tabs slightly showing, but looks like this was now corrected. Not the best pictures, but was in a hurry.

That grille looks killer! Does it generally come with black bezel or did you derp it?

Post pics when you get it on, I have been looking at those. Do you have a lift? Let us know how you like the fit of that bumper. did you/are you get a winch?

The bumper withe the winch in it is super heavy! We ran out of time today but there is a little fab you'll need to do. hopefully the lights and winch will be wired up on Monday and the front finished. front bumper.jpg

Not knocking you truck at all, just speaking on specs. With the the new long nose, how much do you think this has added in length?
