And all you need is a hose clamp and a 4" elbow?

 

I got 4" aluminum tube, 4" hose clamps, hole saw, and a 4" rubber donut looking thing about $40 plus $12 on the elbow

 

Can't beat that for a snorkel...I still got to do diff breather mod

 

Yeah exactly lol and that's pretty cheap too, knock em both out

Because they're crap and will crunch and block air from getting in

 

Is you aluminum tube pretty sturdy? I got an aluminum intake tube

 

Eh seems like it, you saying you have one you aren't using? Mines like a vent tube that folds together into a circle

 

From Lowe's? It may work. But actual aluminum intake tube like in the write up would be better. Here is what I have, I have an extra piece from the one I cut, should be enough for you. We can split the difference.
