What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Mods are done (for now!) on my MGM Limited:

Tinted fronts and sunroof
Power Tailgate Lock
Vinyl tailgate letters (reflective for now)
LED strip lights in bed with tailgate pin switch mod
N-Fab steps
T-Rex billet grille, color matched to MGM with vinyl
OEM Mud flaps
Mobius camera on GoPro mount wired to center console power port
Carista app and dongle to modify settings (wife actually loved this the most since I used it to turn off the annoying backup beep in her Prius.)

Now...what was I doing before I bought this truck??

I'm having another Spartan grille made and then will be posting my sr5 grille up for trade or sale... Question.. Where did you find boxes for shipping.... Or did y'all meet in person?

I shipped my last SR grille when i sold it but used the box the new one came in and that won't be an option this time since I'm sending the crash victim grille back to CCG.

 

So on the Carista website, it says the Tacoma is not supported. I guess it works with ours or do you have to do something special?

We happened to live about 10mins from eachother so we didnt have to ship.

 

Byfar the best aftermarket grill I've seen.

 

I also have the bed divider that slides back and forth on the rails, do you think it allows enough room for that as well?

Thanks man! I'm hoping I get it all finished on Monday or Tuesday. I borrowed on of our loaner cars while it's in our shop but i'm ready for my truck back. I can't complain about the wait cause my buddy is doing it all on his time and I know he needs to work on other cars to make a pay check.

I got it on eBay. You can also order them direct from t-rexbillet.com. It's a solid grille with absolutely no flex in the ribs.

 

It's fully supported out of the box. Just beware that while the app is free, and their dongle is $40, you have to pony up another $20 to actually apply the changes to your truck or any other vehicle via the app.

 

Put my shoes back on. 265/70/17 BFG KO2s on ultra wheels. Custom center cap.
Some rubbing on usual spot inside fender on mud flap. Will need slight trim. Stock Trd Sport suspension - unmolested.

Locking gas cap.

 

Can I use my own OBD2 dongle or do I need theirs?

 

I think any OBD2 dongle is supported.
