bitch, go to the owner of the place ,you shouldn't have to put up with that to. the truck is bad enough, start bitching , remember the squeey wheel gets the grease.another thing we shouldn't have to wait on getting our trucks fixed, mine is a 2010 tacoma the trans is slippy , they reset it and flushed the system and now it's worse, and they said the engineers at toyota is working on the problem and they'll get back with me.

I just got my tranny tsb done along with 5000 mi service. Shifting appears to be much improved. I'll know for sure on the commute to work. I got shot down on the springs though.

Don't give up ! I took my 09 in today for the tranny TSB, and the spring TSB. Got both done. I really can't tell any ride difference at all. Tranny is really nice now.
The dealer told me no at first on the spring TSB, and suggested I call Toyota. I did, and it got approved the next day.

I was told by a friend at Toyota Corporate, that the TSB for the 09 was recalled and the 2010 was added to it. Sorry I forgot to ask for the TSB number. I saw the guy in passing.

I'll keep trying and hopefully the 09's will get added to original tsb. I called Toyota before I went to the dealer and I still got denied. I guess it just depends on what combination of people you deal with. I know the tech actually looked it up before they said no. The service writer even said they were aware of the problem for earlier trucks.

After calling the dealership and talking to somebody that didn't seem to care to attempt to look up TSB information I spoke with somebody from the Customer Experience Center.

She confirmed that TSB 0393-09 released December 3rd addresses the shifting performance with the 2010 transmission. I don't have a copy of the TSB.

Thanks for the post! I'm going to see if they will fix my 2010 now, this shifting problem is annoying. When I tried to get this done before the service tech told me that the 2010 have the new codes.

Just had mine done at Rosner Toyota, Fredericksburg VA. No questions asked and I provided a copy of the TSB for thier techs to reference if need be. No questions to reproduce the problem and I was out of there in 51 minutes.

Yes, the 2-1 shift was fixed. If there were other improvements I didn't notice them but I'm finaly happy with the shifting now. And just in time for the snow.

Had mine done last week and what a difference it makes. I took it to Joe Myers Toyota in Houston. The funny thing was that the service guys didn't know anything about it....seriously? I had complained about it from the beginning and I finally just got it done at 16K miles on my 2009 Tacoma Prerunner.

I had to print up the damn TSB from this site...(thank you Tacoma World) and show it to them.

Hey does anyone know where to get a printout of the new 0393-09 tsb to show my dealership? My service department is being very difficult to deal with. Truck isnt even a month old. I brought it in a week after i bought it. The service tech asked me what was wrong. I said it felt like the tranny was slipping. He said to me "Is it when you slow down and try to accelerate out of a turn. I said "Yes exactly and when im stuck in traffic." He claimed thats how the transmissions were built and that it would be like that forever and Id get used to it. I already scheduled another apointment for this saturday to hopefully get this update installed. They said theyde "take a look at it." Id prefer to go in with the tsb in hand so they dont give me any more excuses. If anyone can help with a copy of the tsb, please post or send to bud5486@yahoo.com. Thank You

Stopped by the dealer yesterday and they kept my truck until today. They did the trans TSB and they also had the spring packs in stock so they did the spring replacement and alignment TSB too.
