Went camping. Made yummy dinner. Went to open beer. No bottle opener. Used knife. Beer is warm. Should have put ice in the cooler...

All the recent hype on the snorkel got me thinking do I need one? I couldn't find anything on safari snorkels website about dust. Just a faint mention at the end of one sentence. The whole write up was about water crossing..Anybody know of one?

Cooler air to engine for day to day and peace of mind on water crossings.
That's about the only benefits of snorkels....
And they look bad motherfuckin ass...
I don't know of any mpg benefits as nobody I know with a snorkel has gotten an ecm tune for a snorkel because any MOD done to intake, exhaust, engine, etc. Needs a tune to unleash any other benefits...

I know the 3rd Gens have a little bit of gap after installation.

I doubt they will for the 3rd Gen. I have seen post about them coming up with something dating way back and we still have nothing. I am just going to do the Amazon one and hope it goes well.

That is good to know. Did you do the rear diff breather mod as well for the water and mud holes?

It is on my to-do list when I do my snorkel. That is part of batch 2 of mods for the 4Runner, then it is computer build.

Depends on where you go. I am doing to do diff and t-case fluid, snorkel and diff breather in a couple months. I honestly kind of forgot about doing it until a couple weeks ago.

I was gorgeous. I am going back at some point. 700ish miles was a little bit much for 2 days... especially when you are on a "backcountry" route with 1/4 tank of gas. lol

Takes 2 seconds if you want to do it with you lift.
