I think the air dam would work with the front corners trimmed. I think it looks better with it off though! Don't know if I will use it or not but probably not. Didn't have mud flaps to begin with, so don't knw but I dought they would work on front.20160226_100932.jpg Thanks for the thumbs up by the way! Still have to figure out the sway bar situation next week. Have had the truck for two months and haven't used half a tank of gas with all the problems.

I can't answer you on the lugging down with 35's yet because obviously I haven't been able to drive mine! Lol, soon as I can I will let you know of my opinion!

image.jpg Hi guys, new to TW. 3rd time Tacoma owner. Long time lurker of the forums but just made an account today. Anyways, I came here to introduce myself because it's my most looked at thread, and my lift is in the mail on its way.
Alpine white TRDOR. I went with the OME lift (887x coils on the 90021 soft strut) and the HS add a leaf. 17"x8.5 v-tec warlord in all black wheel. 285/70 nitto trail grappler M/T. I live in the flat muddy lands way down south Louisiana so I found this set up to be most reasonable for what I need it for. I'll post pics ASAP, and hopefully it all works out with no rubbing, creaks, or pops. All input welcome!

Welcome!! Sounds great, hope it goes smoother than mine is! Then again I ventured into some unchartered waters. So have no worries, good luck and looking forward to pics! :)

Forgive me, still getting used to the forum and I'm not sure how to reply to an individual. @honey i copied the lift set up and tire size from another member on here, the only difference that might give me an issue is my tire is a bit more aggressive. Give me a week or 2 and we'll know for sure!

I don't think your tire size is going to cause you any problems. Like you said you'll find out soon. And there's always a fix!

6" Tuff country was used for the base lift. But didn't use any blocks or spacers put a full Alcan leaf pack in the back and King coilovers in the front. Also Bilstein 5125 in the rear. Total chaos uca's.

How long have you had this setup? Have you noticed any settling? I have the same on my truck and the rear sits lower. Yours looks level. Thanks..

Looking good:) are the fronts set at .85? After some consternation, I set mine at O and kept factory 1 inch rake. Love the way the 5100s ride. Do you have current measurements hub to fender? Thanks.

Good lookin' access cab you got there! Had my local off road shop install. The snap ring is set at the first notch above 0 so I'm assuming .85-1"? Likewise on how they ride, couldn't be happier. No hub to fender measurements yet, once I get back to her (traveling for work) I'll be sure to post. Any reason you went back to factory rake?

I set the 5100s at 0 because at .85, I was afraid I might end up "nose high" in appearance (Although measurements would show as level.) I went through this process with my '13 4Runner recently; set those 5100s at .85". The 4R had a 2" factory rake and 5100s reduced it to 1" rake. Turned out great:)
