I used 80 grit sand paper to scuff up the chrome. Be careful around the edges to not chip any off. Then after cleaning, I used Stixx adhesion promoter. Dupli-color makes it, too. Then I painted it. It turned out good except I got a thumb in it before it was dry. I've got to sand that out and repaint that spot. Then, I know a guy with a back yard body shop that's going to hit it with a good clear coat for me. Between bad weather and lack of motivation, I haven't gotten it finished yet.

Well today's project. Grill craft grill and Anzo 7"HID's on a BAMF bracket. Took the red HID bezels off and painted them yellow, because well yellow. I think it turned out great. Only issue is I need about another inch of rise out of the HID's. The bottom of the grill cuts them off a bit too much for me. I have no clue how to go about this. I will check at dark to see how much light is blocked. Well here it is in the day time.
