How many people use the wheel locks nuts?

Yes I do. I'm saying that locks are good because they make it harder for thieves. If they want your stuff they'll get it but locks greatly increase the time to get caught red handed.

 

I know it's hard to fathom for folks that live in urban areas, but, there are still small towns where we don't have to lock our doors, close our garages, or set alarms when we leave the house. If someone wants my truck, they won't have to break in, the keys are in it. Wheel locks are sitting on my work bench.

 

I love the sentiment but the movie "In Cold Blood" comes to mind. Bad guys are everywhere and always have been.

 

ive also heard of criminals breaking into vehicles looking for the wheel lock key in the glovebox.

Wheel locks are like condoms they protect you but they also make it less fun.

Mine came installed, and they weren't listed as an extra-cost item in the bill of sale. When I took delivery, the key, along with four regular lugnuts that were removed, were in a retail Toyota wheel lock accessory clamshell in the glovebox.
