I'm designing the 4 link right now. I need to pick up the dom tube and weld up the axle truss.

After changing my CV and washing the truck I found a nice surprise.

My passenger side upper shackle bolt was about halfway out of its hanger and the left shackle plate was hanging. I am lucky I caught that before it was too late. Apparently one of the nuts backed completely out.

Ace hardware thankfully had M14 x 1.50 nylon lock nuts. Hopefully those won't back out on me. I know you can't over tighten shackle nuts or the suspension will ride like shit. The previous nuts had the tendency to get less than finger tight, not safe at all.

For anyone with OME greaseable shackles looking for safer nuts, M14x1.50 lock nuts will be what you need. This way you don't have to over tighten them, and they SHOULD still be securely attached. I may drill a hole in the shackle bolts and use a castle nut in the near future.

    I think it's a Relentless.

A very sharp bumper. I especially like the baja/stinger style hoop.

Made a filler plate for the bumper. Gonna put some 3/4" LED turn signals where the yellow tape is. Maybe 3 lights I think 5 might be overkill.

Moved my truck to where I can pull off parts easily and more accessible (family friends house) and pulled the taco with the taco. Seemed like the most respectful way for the ol boy lol! But truck pulled good Dakars + AAL FTW!

I ended up getting a reman without even looking. But apparently it has a 3 year warranty. By then if it breaks, I'll just get a "new" one. Live and learn.

Yeah, I'll be with Jake. Not sure if mod day is at his house or Aaron's shop, but either way we'll be in the same place.
