image.jpg Well. Nice day today so I washed my truck, installed trail toys stickers and greased the ujoints and my uca balljoints. Ooo and hit my sliders with a coat of spray paint. Dam things just as bad as my skids. I can't keep paint on them. Without the paint they rust. The dam truck will rust away before them though.

I've thought about line-x but not sure how it will hold up to bashing off rocks. I used a heavy coat of roll on bedliner but it scraped off so I just use spray paint. It's cheap and easy to fix. I use a heavy heavy dose of fluid film. It works wonders haha.

Just use a rust resistant prime and paint. Brush on tractor enamel seems to stick better than spray on for me. And when you scratch it down to the metal, it's easy to touch up.

If you use your sliders for what they are supposed to be for, bed liner, power coat, etc is still going to come off. Make life easy with paint.

It didn't survive on my BAMF sliders. Had it done at LineX of Laurel Maryland.

They told me they would touch them up for a fee. It would be less than the $200 for the initial coating.
