    Yeah, I'm getting a rack on the cab and can then carry my kayak above the tent.

    I have a smittybuilt. I like it, works really well and haven't had any issues the first summer I've had it. Although it seems to be the exact same tent as a buddy I have(forgot the brand he has) has with a smittybuilt patch instead and some led lights. I plan on getting the awning this spring.

    I have the tall bed bars. The rear window is pretty much useless. You can sometimes see a small sliver under the RTT

    Edit. This is the only pic i can find to give you an idea. image.jpg

    After comparing pricing, size, warranty, and options my fiancé and I have decided to purchase a smittybilt Rtt.

    The biggest factor besides cost, for me, was that it comes with the stargazer and if I have any problems with the tent I can easily return it to my local 4 wheel parts store.

    @Acerwin and @scottalot
    Just a heads up, my fiancé called 4 wheel parts and they told her the Rtt will be 10% off on their march madness day sale.

    Why are we talking about Shittybilt in CVT's GB thread? To me that's kinda rude. And I know you guys aren't trying to be but its not cool to talk about something irrelevant to this thread here... Just make another thread.

    I wouldn't consider buying any other tent than CVT because of the customer service Bobby offers. I've been talking to Bobby about this GB since last year and the responsiveness to answer questions and the amount of things I have seen him take care of with other guys who's tents got damaged in shipping and such... It's top notch. That's why I can accept paying a high price for a tent from Bobby at CVT

    Because this is the general RTT thread and not the CVT group buy thread?
