Well I did my hitch because I'm impatient.

It's on now nice and tight. Just need a rear right mud flap now if anyone has one laying around. I'll pay what I have too.

    Ignore the crack:anonymous:

Fine fine lol just the axle, I probably would miss my bed too. Turning a $32k truck into an off-road rock crawling monster I like it

All pros SAS kit is added to the wish list

Does anyone near town and country weld? I need a pole mounted to a hitch receiver. Whoever is willing to help a brother out, I'll tell you my plan and see if someone's up for the job. I know I can buy one but I think being able to say "me and Farmer John made this ourselves."image.jpg

I'm going to just save money for the wedding and if I happen to at some point have enough for the rear too I'll do that. But still wanting you to go first to learn what all goes into it.

:tumbleweed:So I'm being told I'm on TW way too much. It seems TW either makes me spend too much money or consumes all my spare time. Guess I'm just glad it's my spare time and not my money.:bananadance:

Jeez, that seems high...really high. Used to be, back in the day you could pick up a D60 rear axle for like $100.

That said, getting a D60 axle and slapping the Toyota hubs and drum brakes on it seems like a waste. Part of the charm of the D60 is the full floating axles which makes them so much easier to change, or remove if you need to take the carrier out. Unless you're just talking about the D60 hubs with a 6 lug bolt pattern.

As for the brakes, if you're not gonna use the bigger D60 brakes, you might as well go all in and change over to discs.
