Many thanks to @MJonAgs32 for hosting the event! I really appreciated the help swapping my springs! Shout out to @tacomgee for bringing that spring compressor too. Once we figured out how to use it, that thing made the spring swaps so much easier and safer. It was nice meeting everyone and I hope we can do another mod day soon.

 

(and the guy who wanted to bolt on his sliders, but ended up just helping others)

In the past, either I or any of the other old school TW'ers have said: everyone that got their trucks modded, hope to see you guys on some of the trips and not just fall off the face of the earth now that your truck was worked on for free lol


Hey! Thats me!!! I had a blast just wrenching! I read somewhere on this forum- "wrenching is good for the soul", and it definitely is for me! I decided to weld the sliders on, but I need to prep them (sand, prime, paint or rhino coat), so I figured why not get some wrenching in.
I do plan to see y'all again in another meet and mod day or an trip. I'll just be creeping on these forums...

I am hoping to receive a quantity of both black and white decals (and actually maybe some red also Bob?)

So if he doesn't get you let me know, hopefully I can help hook up the NorCal group with their sticker and color needs!

Anyone know a good fab shop in San Jose willing to weld engine mount perch gussets? My 2wd driver side caved in, going to order the DMZ kit, but I'm trying to avoid taking the truck all the way down there. Also considering doing the 4wd to reinforce and piece of mind

 

Maybe try Infamous fab? I think they are down in SJ off the top of my head.. @Tiger541
