Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum. I just recently bought a 99 Tacoma 3.4 4x4. Gear truck, and a wonderful deal. It came with a body lift. So ever since I got it the shifter jumps out of first and I can feel it hitting the frame when going to second, forth, and reverse. I have replaced the shifter seat and cap. Still jumps out of first. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

Ditch that BL if its causing the stick to hit the floor of the cab.

If I get rid of body lift, I'd have to get another set of tires. Ones I have are new. They scrub just a little when turning sharp, so getting rid of body lift isn't good until I can do suspension lift. Will cutting the frame help first gear?

Try to get that body lift off, then if you want a lift do it right. Good luck.
