Could get a safety wire jig, and never let it happen again. I've thought about doing it for added insurance.

Does anyone know of a semi local place to get some sliders? Shipping for these things are expensive!

Whats up in Perry? And they are having their 1year opening anniversary so they are allowing us to stay over night. I have a few things I MUST get done before I go though... like cutting off some of the bolt that sticks up passed my Leafs

im not gonna be able to go lol, the 80 still isnt done yet, gotta rip the trans out....again.....to put in the correct clutch fork, collar, and release bearing since the truck wants to move.........but the only action I get is when the clutch is on the floor against the firewall. But even then she just wants to inch forwards or backwards and stop

Hey @Alfuh do you have a SOS bumper? I hit a piece of plywood last week and I've been thinking about getting an off-road bumper upgrade with the insurance money.

Well we gave the installation a shot yesterday and we got to the final corner and I guess we were just tired and ready to be done but one of the spacers for the shock that mounts to the axle fell out as we were installing it. We torqued the bolt to spec and later found the spacer. The right side of the lower shock mount is now bent inwards and the shock will not fit into the mount. It wasn't as bad as it looks now because we were trying to bend it back leveraging every which way we could. Any ideas guys? Also if you look at the second picture, you will see the spacers sticking out of the bottom of the shock. One side protrudes out further than the other. There is a tiny gap where they meet inside the base of the shock where the bolt threads through to mount to the axle. Is this bad? I think this is a result of not installing the spacer and bending the mount. We were so damn close. All that was left was to mount the reservoir to the frame. I'm so sad guys.

only way is to bend it back out man, if not....you're gonna have to get a new shock mount or something. I smell a shock relocation kit incoming :p big reason why you gotta take your time lol, if you lose a part like that, it's there for a reason...cant just throw it on and expect the best lol
