Tested out the Duratracs, definitely found myself wishing I had more than 32's on the trail but they did really well when size didn't matter.

I need to work on my approach to water crossings and gauging what I can and can't do.

Waiprous area if I am not mistaken? I use to go back there quite a bit when I was repairing the dyke in Benchlands a few years back.

Why more than 32's and what is your lift?

    It's Waiparous Yea.

Crossing rivers with ice ridges meant no ramp up and out just straight cut angles out, larger tire would have helped me roll up and over instead of relying on the rear pushing the rockbed thats under water. Luckily I only dug in once and was able to recover.

I'm still new and its fun to learn limits.

The lift is a 2 1/2 spacer lift right now, I'm reconsidering blocking the rear and switching to a 5100 lift in the front.

I'll take a guess: San Luis Obispo, CA. Happiest city in America: http://www.oprah.com/oprahshow/Happiest-City-in-America-San-Luis-Obispo-Video
(Note: It's much easier to be happy if you move here with your own supply of money and aren't trying to work and raise a family)

I was guessing - Cal Poly Aero Engineering 1967 - (Pismo Beach, Madonna Inn, Morro Bay, Avila, Arroyo Grande, best place indeed...)

At the hunting club, early season, mud not so bad.
    pretty tacoma.jpg
They will get stuck! Late season filling deer feeders...300lbs of corn on the back, bad rain, bad mud, deep slick ruts with OE tires. I tried all the off road "goodies" to no avail. Had to get pulled out by a Jeep.

    Nothing worthy

Wheres this at Bishop? Always up the Calgary/Canmore way and looking for adventure. However right now i only have OEM tires and lift. Avoid? Doesn't look too extreme.

man that stuff looks slick. Doesn't seem like much of anything other than some new tires would have changed that outcome.

That stuff is slicker than owl $hit. And sticks to everything.

Yeah, it would actually move back and forth in the ruts, but it was in the deepest part and simply wouldn't grab to get out.

Looks like you'll have plenty of fun washing all that off and out of your tires  I haven't had my chance to get deep into the woods yet with this one. Ready to fully try it out though.

Took the fellas out for a good time exploring, shooting, bullshitting on Saturday. I showed them what the 2016 Tacoma was all about. The new KO2s (265/70 17) performed flawlessly. I had to tackle some pretty steep, muddy, rutted hills and had absolutely no problems. I goddamn love this truck!

Took the taco out yesterday on Table Mesa Rd (AZ). Found out early on that part of the road was washed out and thought we weren't going to make it all the way through. Decided to try it out anyways. Glad we did...used a detour that dropped down into the wash which was about a 25 deg slope. Fun day and beautiful weather!
