Hi am looking at getting into the RTT market. Thinking about the CVT trailer tent. Does anyone have any experience with this tent. I would think it is more versatile then a RTT on a trailer. Any thoughts would be appreciated

Damn well. For a college kid on a limited budget. I think I'm down for the smittybilt RTT now.

Once my Prinsu racks are delivered that is...

It may be the same as Tepui/CVT, but I personally stay away from Shittybilt now. Had a couple of bad experiences

Spooling Shittybilt winch in with remote. Let go of button on remote and winch still coming in - like it wouldn't stop. So much it dented my bumper right behind where the fairlead is (fairlead was caving in). It eventually stopped. Since then, new winch and new bumper lol
@JLee can also attest to this happening to him as well. He ended up chopping the synthetic line with a machete while it almost collided two truck together

Shittybilt tube steps not holding their weight and bending. Now I have sliders

Actually I take it back, I think I have a Shittybilt snatch block. But I'm not buying any big dollar Shittybilt purchases

Well this all is a bad experience I don't think you can really mess up an Rtt the way winches and other items are commonly ridiculed on the site. I don't run any winch yet but from what I've seen from the smittybilt Rtt its golden.

Maybe with winches and things maybe so maybe not but I'm going off what I've personally seen, not read.
