I agree, it's always nice to try something different. Why not drive your truck off the Grand Canyon? That'll be a different experience for sure.

I've owned a 1st and I own a 3rd gen now. I looked hard at GM/GMC trucks before I bought my 2016. A buddy of mine bought a Z71 Colorado he was kicking himself for buying his once he got a look at my 2016...

I got leather added in a few weeks after purchase, so leather seats shouldnt sway one way or another. However, it is the same manual seat function from the 2nd gen

    Powered seats are overrated!

Hence why I gave real world interactions both with GM and Toyota as my reason for my choice. If anything I was a GM fanboy most of my life. Not sure I'd qualify as any fanboy now but I believe Toyota earned a shot to gain my loyalty, whereas GM gave me reason to doubt my previous loyalty.

You are 20x more likely to buy a lemon from GMC/Chevy than from Toyota.

Why does it seem that every thread goes in this direction? This is by far the most bitchy group of people on a forum, and I've been on quite a few.

If you don't like it, don't buy it and if you bought it and don't like it, trade it in. Reminds me of people at work, bitching about the stupidest shit.

I just got a ride in my first Colorado. It's okay, just not for me. Generally speaking, I prefer the looks of the Tacoma interior, but the Colorado seats are nicer, particularly the material.

quite a few things I question about that. It looks like they used total number of vehicle productions worldwide, but only used number of north american lemon laws reported? Plus, not many other countries have the "lemon law" like we do. Heck each state in America is different. you can lemon law a vehicle in some states because the gas cap doesnt fit right.

wonder what the numbers would be if you used only the number of vehicles in America per number reported.

If that were the case, you'd expect VW (who sells 10x more cars overseas as they do in north america) to be near the top of the list. Also, it clearly says the data comes from goodcarbadcar.net, which only has sales data for the US and Canada and the UK, not worldwide at least that I can find. See here:
