Man that sucks. It's amazing the mindset these morons have. They get caught speeding, then feels violated and wants to vindicate himself by slashing your tires, and then gets arrested.

Man I miss the days where people took responsibility for their own actions.

It's a good thing he has a surveillance system, a lot of people think it will never happen to them until it does

So this explains a lot from the previous thread where you spent bashing us "hose draggers" "foundation savers" etc....so much I can say right now, but I'll just Netflix and chill

I've been thinking about purchasing a set of external cameras to keep and eye on the doors and drivway. @Blazingbluesport What system do you use to monitor the outside of your house?

Sorry this happened to you man! It's happened to a number of our guys parked outside the PD. Thank goodness we can park inside the garage on the weekends, our station is next to all the bars.

I can't speak for @Blazingbluesport but seeing as I'm a technician for commercial grade surveillance systems. Night Owl sells a really good, really cheap analog kit, that has great features like mobile applications and IR technology. If your looking to have a commercial grade system, I'd recommend you step up to an IP system like GeoVision. They have a "Target Series" camera line up thats very reasonably priced. Their software is free for up to 32 cameras that can be installed on any Windows desktop computer and they also have an array of features like email alerts, mobile feed, object indexing, and watermarking. If you'd like more information, feel free to PM me

Ok, don't make too much fun of me... but I have a question.

I went to Goodyear yesterday to quote some BFG KO2s and Duratraks. My factory tire size is 265/65/17s. I'm looking to get 265/70/17s. This increases the height of the tire by 5mm on each side of the sidewall (10mm total). I ran the numbers and it looks like my speedo will be off by 2.22mph at 65mph. I'm assuming it will also effect my odometer. Are there ways to calibrate both the speedo and odometer to be accurate?

But the reason I'm jumping on here to ask questions is because the service manager at goodyear told me that I need to stay with the factory size of the tire. He said that if I change the tire size, it will change the shift points on the truck and will cause unnecessary wear/tear on the transmission. He also said it could cause other issues with the driveshaft and suspension. Any truth to any of his claims?

I searched google and did some light reading. Some people said it could cause problems.... other sources said id wasn't a problem.

    Thanks in advance!

ehh, I'm running 33's and haven't noticed any difference in shift points.

Thanks for the info @VangaSTL. I'd like to have an IP based system if the prices don't break the bank. I use various IP cameras that feed to a Synology storage device right now. I'd like to find some compatible with that with the resolution to identify a culprit if some shady business ever went down. Either way I'll definitely check out both vendors.

My complex I live in has cameras and the bank across from the entrance to the complex picked him up going and leaving.

Looking good! I actually like the lower front bar compared to being the diameter of the grill. Without the headlight hoops, it looks much better.

Pop n loc tailgate, LED Headlight, Foglights, Reverse and all interior lights. Weathertech floor mats. Carbon fibre tailgate inserts. Trifold hard top tonneau
Finally finished swapping all my interior and license plate bulbs to LED. The map lights and plate lights were a bit difficult. Thankfully this forum has a ton of helpful tips.

Re the tire slasher: Hard enough when you have to take it all day on the job. Harder yet when you have to put up with it at home. I've had heroes like this do worse ... even threatening wife and child. But hold on to it, brother. Shit heels there will only use it against you if he gets hold of it somehow. Nice to see all the support for you here in TW.
