Finally got the driveshaft back in the truck today, no more vibration and chatter :woot: I think next time i need to borrow someones press instead of using the hammer&socket method, what a pain

Anyone else have noisy brakes in there second gen? If i go from park to reverse, the first time i hit the brakes, i hear them shift. Then when i put it in drive, i hit the brakes and hear them shift back. Dealership told me this was normal, but i have my doubts.

just the 1st time? I have heard that also, when backing outta the d-way. I aint concerned at this point, but I did have a sphincter shunt when I had the abs engage and then for as long as it took to shit my pants, I lost and regained brakes. purty sure I have read bout these issues elsewhere. oh and I have some nice interior towels that kleen things up well!!

it's normal. there is some float in our pads, so the first time you hit the brakes in a new travel direction, the pads will shift the 1/8'' or so and click on the caliper. some pads do it more than others.
