But depending on quality and price I might have a conversation with the kid...

 

ok truth is I'd just parse down my 24x7 surveillance videos and put on a dvd
and give to police and discuss it with them

you do have cams everywhere, doncha ?

if you don't...time to install a dvr system and at least 8 cams, because
now you got crackheads in your bushes guaranteed

 

Why don't you talk to the kid? Let him know what things look like from "across the street" to smarten up before he gets into trouble for something stupid. What gets accomplished talking to the dad?

anonymous tip, im sure your local agency has a line for that. also, try www.nextdoor.com and network with your neighbors so you are all on the same page, im sure they would appreciate that, shit i would.

 

Only if it is affecting and potentially putting my living conditions at risk. Which if you are seeing random cars and stuff pull up, it is immediately affecting your living conditions and putting you at risk for getting harmed. Approach your neighbor and let him know what's going on. If he doesn't put a stop to it then I'm sure some intervention from the authorities will.

 

Good suggestion but I see that going down hill quick.

 

I'm still debating....these are all pretty much high school and college kids and look pretty harmless....I'm going to mount a flood light on the corner of my garage to discourage activity on that side at night.

 

If the kids in his late teens and early 20s, then you would likely be seeing a lot of older people coming by. Honestly, if they all seem cut from the same cloth, they are probably just all his loser friends. If he was dealing there would be people from all walks of life- men, women and children from all ages.

 

let it be, could be nothing at all. is selling weed a high priority for law enforcement! is it worth the risk of putting your family at risk?

 

I think you would be doing the kid and father a big favor by telling the father.
