Took my coilovers out for rebuild and added super bumps.

those with superbumps, how far is yours spaced down? im going to cycle my suspension before i put the coilovers back in with my tires on to see where it lands. I'm interested to see who has them spaced down and how big their spacer is on the superbumps.

When you cycle your suspension and take your measurements, keep in mind those bumpstops compress a lot.. Here's a good vid showing them in action in case you haven't seen it, along with the best screenshot I could grab at full compression.

I would start big, maybe a 3/8 and a 1/4, then put some grease or something on the shaft and romp it, see how much you are using and adjust from there. I have 1.25" total spacers but the DK lowers. I just added 2 x 1/4" and removed a 3/8" for an 1/8" net as I was either completely compressing the shock or coming really damn close.

good lord thats a large spacer, i'd imagine the DK lowers is the main reason why you'd need 1.25" for the bumpstop. Ill have to check mine a few times before the coilovers go back on.

Bel-Ray makes some super trick stuff! I may just end up using what's left of my tri-flo spray lube, then switching over to this stuff. Thanks for the tip @iJonny!

Depends on if your needle bearing retainers are seized tough on there. Mine were and I had to pull out the air hammer just to get the damn thing off the shaft. :O

The SDHQ boots are awesome. Zip tie the inner portions of them and that should allow them to slide up and down as needed, but keep the grease from getting flung around everywhere.

It is big, but the DK arms geometry is different than the stock and dip lower below where the bump is. I have around an inch before contact with them at ride height.

Stock lowers mine are almost in contact at ride height. I have spacers but didnt have the time nor had a chance to flex it to see if i need to put any under the bump.

    How much?

If I get LT arms I would convert my shocks to 8" stroke and sell my DK MT arms. Depending what Dakota over here says I may have a set of CA's up soon!
