True story: I was filling up my taco yesterday (1st fillup) when I was approached by a woman that had just test drove a Colorado.
she said the interior was junk and did not like the way it drove, then asked me how I like the Tacoma TRD enuff said
she then told me she was going to the nearest Toyota dealership to buy one
We have gained another one

I think Consumer Report isnt always reliable. The colorado interior look terrible. The outside the colorado front look lowered than the rear and I think that weird. I think the tacoma is a little more reliable, a little more resale value, tougher looking, too. the gmc sierra and ford ranger i drive at work is not bad.

maybe I am not understanding the chart. What does the 11 mil and 600k at the end have to do with anything?

Now that you say that, it doesn't make any sense at all. How can they only produce 1 lemon in 11 million cars? There would be no lemons for years

Because then you won't be able to sit at the dealership all day, eat free popcorn and sip bottled water while they claim to be checking your Automatic Transmission Fluid level

I would tend to believe it to be 1 in 1 million and 1 in 650k. 2x as more likely then a chevy? But buick (a GM) is so high up there? sooo many questions....

It looks like they didn't use real lemon law claims, just online complaints of lemons? Conclusion: That chart is useless. 54 comments on that article and nobody brought that point up, amazing.

Bed rug, ARE bed top, Weathertechs. Little goodies here and there!
You keep hearing reliability/reliability here. Put some more weight on this factor. I've had chevy's for the better of 30yrs and thought I'd never see the day I'd have a yota, but alas here I am. Granted, I've only had mine for 6 months and only time will tell, but dammit I'm done with the craptie. Plus once you have the craptie, GM don't give crap about their design flaws and leave you with the repair bill.

If you are still looking for one?

There has been one sitting for the past 6 months at the Chevy dealership down the street. Dover Point Rd Dover NH

It's lifted with some sort of rollbar/back rack w/ led fogs.

Only reason I can think of to buy a GM Twin is the greater tank range the diesel would provide when loaded to GVWR and towing.

With the same load the diesel will probably get you 100 more miles on the same (tiny) 21 gallon fuel tank.
