first time buyer, truck retard here!

ordering my Double-cab tacoma, the first thing i want to buy are the side-steps and front bash guard (is that what they are called?)

i'd like a PLAIN front bash guard, not the "safari" ones, and would like the kind where i can mount off-road lights.

    photos, cost and WTB appreciated.

not sure if you meant bull bar...if you did this is the one I got...its the stainless steel westin bull bar and the lights are PIAA fog lights. The PIAA lights are really pricey but last a lot longer than other lights I've had, I think they were around $300. The Bull bar was 495. Hope this helps.

not sure if they make this perticular bull bar anymore. Got both the nerf bars and bull bars from them. But I think you have to buy through one of their suppliers. They should also have chrome.

I put the Westin Bull Bar and Side Steps (in black) on.
We call them a "Deer-catcher" up here in the Midwest. I got the Westin Bull Bar (black) and Westin side steps. I like them alot. They are nice and thick. The steps are mostly for show, until I get this thing lifted a little. I know they don't recommend doing it by yourself, but it was pretty easy. No problem at all with some help.

nice photos, i like the chrome ones better because my Cobra Kit car is black, and there just isn't enough chrome in my life.

dumb question: how does the color of the Westin stainless steel bull bar compare to chrome?

My Tacoma has the skidplate option, does anyone make a bull bar w/o the built in skid plate like on the Westin above?

I'll sell you my oem chrome side steps and oem chrome/stainless bull bar. There is nothing wrong with either, I am just switching things out and going to the black theme. I am not sure if I have any pics at work, but I will find some if your interested. I have not had lights mounted to the bull bar but there is room for 2 lights.
