I have a 2016 Tacoma TRD SPORT and I was wondering if anyone else has this issue? The gap between the tailgate and taillight on the passenger side is a lot smaller then the drivers side and the same goes for the rear bumper. The passenger side gap is smaller then the drivers side gap. Also, I noticed some "touch up" paint blot on the top part of the passengers side bed next to the tail light. I'll try and post some pictures. I am wondering if I should ask my dealership about it or if I'm being way too picky and I need to stop noticing every little detail. I'm open to all suggestions lol

If its gonna bug you, take it in. If its not, let it ride.

I personally would be back at the dealership instantly because I've an extreme case of automotive OCD.

I didnt notice the tailgate, but did notice the bumper being spaced out further on driver side. ( almost double the space)

Doesn't the tailgate sit in a track that can slide left or right a fair amount? The tailgate is removable and as such just sits there. It's really not attached to anything. Trying pushing the tailgate left or right and realign.

This is partially true, the tailgate is removable and that being said can not be adjusted by pushing left or right, there are cups that go on a rail and if the cups are not aligned the tailgate will not sit right or centred.
