    2.7 w/auto, 4WU 3 link, F & R Diamonds, ARB's F/R w/ Yukon 5.29's, Inchworm 4.7 Lefty, Deavers, ARB OBA, Schrockworks up front.
Here is what remains to complete this build minus little details I'll take care of:

    1. Tig weld tabs for the limiting straps & install
    2. Tig heim support to shock tower to allow installation of remaining steering shaft components
    3. Install brake calipers
    4. Add fluids to: front diff, engine, power steering reservoir and master cylinder
    5. Bleed complete brake system
    6. Temporarily zip tie the ABS module so I can get home and correctly 'kill' the ABS system
    7. Alignment

Once I get it home, I'll tinker with it for a while (maybe a month) to get the ABS properly & completely removed, relocate/ install the twin ARB compressor, add a proportioning valve from FROR in preparation of the rear Diamond full float axle w/ discs, order a complete front driveshaft from Marlin Crawler, scotch guard the newly installed parts and paint.

For those of you out there thinking of a 3 link system for your 1st gen, 4WU's geometry is on point. As I had researched many available options, trust me in that you cannot go wrong with this product. I'm not plugging in any way... anyone who gets this deep in a build will definitely know the difference between 'the other guys' parts and good stuff.

    Thanks for tuning in.

Truck looks great. If I wouldn't have built my own brackets and did my own geometry, I would have gone to Brian for everything. I went with him with my Radflo coil-overs and I am still amazed at how well they are tuned. I know I'm going back to him soon for a set of Radflo smooth-bodies for the rear with the Chevy 63's.

Thanks Todd. Yours again is coming along nicely. Any word on the trac bar build becoming available for sale?

After hearing his thoughts on different companies with their shock technology differences, his relationship with PAC for springs and RadFlo fro C/Os' & shocks work awesome together.

My truck has a killer ride height which equals the rear... no modifications needed.

I will be so stoked to have everything complete, even my tinkering with a fresh Grizzly Wide Cut dip and Jack 'N' Coke in hand while thinking through things will be awesome.

Thanks for the views and replies all.

Your ride height is perfect. Do you have a frame measurement yet?

Nothing yet for the traction bar, been super busy with side jobs for other people... sliders, axle swaps, repairing a t-boned side by side, and re-working the bed of my own truck. I can't remember if I mentioned it yet or not but I do not like the shackle design I did for the traction bar. It is VERY noisy. I would have never thought it would be, but I need to crawl underneath the truck and see why its so loud. Other than that it works pretty good.

Maybe soon I can pull it off and build a jig and make a few clones of mine. I have no timetable on it though.

Crap... I didn't get a final ride height for the frame measurement! I completely forgot to get that, a long day for sure. I'll need to remember to get that next weekend and post.

There are a lot of parts from the removal in the bed as I have them sold locally which may change things however. Probably 100 lbs of crap, minus the steering rack that was shot.

    That list includes:
Extended travel 2.5 ICON CO's, spindles w/ gussets & Total Chaos UCA's and ORW limiting straps & hardware.

My truck is gaining weight too. In CA, when you have to go through the SMOG crap for registration, the weight of the vehicle dictates the amount cash one doles out. This state sucks.

    Thanks to all for viewing.

Ya' know... It's been close to 2 years since I've called Bud-Built for a Trac-Bar and posing my questions.

Not a single call back. WTF?

Thank guys... I am dying to get it back and begin handling all of the small details. Painting everything will take some time but that's OK.
I figure a month of little things and I'll be good to go.

    Thanks for tuning in.

    Oh yeah I will.

I'll be ordering left & right front brake lines (non ABS) and plumb those, ditching the ABS module. To do so, I needed a friends VIN to order the parts... yeah, you need to do that here in San Diego, at least I've had to. His is an '02 4x4 and he doesn't have ABS. Ditching the ABS unit will give me juuuust enough room to re-install the twin compressors. Doing this also sets me up for the Diamond full float rear with discs too.

I imagine a month of personalization and I'll be ready to hit it again.

I will do the 'what seems to be required' poser shots of flex and all of that once I get it where I like it.

    Thanks for tuning in.

    Well here we go...
So I drove it home Late Saturday night. All systems felt good. Still need to completely dial in the suspension but it was set well enough to drive home.
All day Sunday I fiddled with several things like the steering wheel linkage and support heim, replacing zip ties for others that were removed for shock tower placement and began a major cleaning of under the hood.

On Saturday, I'll begin figuring out if my compressor will go where I want it... we'll see if I can stuff it where the ABS module resides now. Either way, the ABS is out. I will fab a permanent trans cross member this weekend too. It will take some time on Sunday to complete.

Once all is dialed in, I'll paint everything.

Here are some pics, more to follow:

Thanks... It's been 3 months since it's had any cleaning done.
    It will shine when complete.

    Thanks.
I'll build the cross member this weekend. OEM mount was $200.00, ouch. Need it though.
I get the exhaust dialed in on Thursday and hopefully I can get the Howe Performance steering pump, reservoir & cooler installed on Saturday.

Thanks to all for tuning in. More to follow.

    This here:

    IMG_4580.jpg

I'll make the cross member out of 1/2" x 3" plate. This mount attaches to the T case.
Where it's at now, it's attached to the OEM adapter between the trans & T case.

    Thanks for asking.

ahh, didn't realize you were running a lefty. I figured this was the part you were talking about, but when I saw the $200, I wasn't sure. I thought I remembered mine being much cheaper but I didn't buy a Toyota replacement.
