I've used the forum quite a bit for research, figured I should probably go ahead and sign up. Here's how I got here:

I was a Ford guy for years until they stopped offering manual transmissions in their trucks. I found out Toyota still offered a stick in the Tacoma in late 2013. I instantly traded my F150 in on a 2014 6mt TRD Sport and never looked back.

Within a year I completely converted over to Toyota. I traded my wife's car in on a 2014 Limted RAV4. Then I sold my Ranger daily driver and tracked down a 2000 4Runner with a 5speed and a locker. I lifted the 4Runner a couple inches and made it my daily driver.

When the 2016 Tacomas came out and I found out they were still offering the 6mt, I decided to go ahead and trade in on one. I really liked my 14 Sport, but always wished it had a locker. I had to wait about three months for the dealership to get my 16 with the mt and the color I wanted, but it was worth it.

So...here I am. I'm looking forward to all this forum has to offer and possibly assisting others with whatever I can.

Thanks for your welcomes. I hope this one doesn't make me broke, but I've always had a hard time leaving anything stock.

She really likes the RAV. She wanted an SUV again, but I didn't want to have to hear about the MPGs every time she filled up. This was a great option, she thinks she has an SUV even though it's more of a car. It's got all the bells and whistles she wanted and was a lot less than a new 4Runner. It's AWD, so I feel a little more at easy when she's out driving in the snow. It's plenty peppy and will get about 30 MPG on the highway.
