Did they use a needle scaler to check the frame? I find it hard to believe if its as thin as you say they couldnt find a hole. I work at a dealer in western mass and I hardly ever pass one. Corners of the middle body mounts, behind the catalytic converters, and the spare tire crossmember are the most common places.
Worse part about the newer frames is you get a frame or you get undercoating and thats it. With the previous generation you got 15 years from in-sevice date. We have already seen a few that were undercoated and already have holes.

Plenty of great products so far !
I think I'm gonna cut them inside to outside. Then try and fit them around , with silicone seal them up?

Don't know if they did... I'm taking it in for another inspection soon. My location limits how often I can take it in though... Kinda a money drain getting my truck to the dealer.

mine was one of the undercoated ones back in the day it failed a couple years after. After wheeling there was hardly any of the coating left to be found.

I still vote for picking up some 3/16 sq tube and making your own rear frame section while your are it make it a tube bed. You can do the same to the front when you SAS it lol.

I was thinking a 4 link rear would be bitching... And a 4 link front.... With porter axles... On 40s. Couple of marlin crawl boxes. I think that's an attainable goal. I'll keep an eye out for solid axles to swap in!

Yea a year ago I was dead set on one tons. Now I'm thinking I'm going to just do the trailgear kit with their axle.

This bro had a nice new Taco, bought by his parents, and he took it down one of the desert race courses at speed. He got the truck airborn, like really air born, got the whole thing on video and posted it here. Turns out, stock Tacos aren't made to handle the same abuse as a heavily modded LT trophy truck and the damage was enough to total the vehicle. Well, they lied to insurance and got it covered, then bragged about it here. Said douche was reported to the authorities by TW staff, not sure what happened after but I'm sure it wasn't good for James and his family.

Good stuff for sure I'm thinking the TG kit because it will cost less and be able to drop in much faster. Iv been looking for a used Tacoma diamond axle but the only one up recently isn't what I want to pay for something abused...yet it may drop. But you save so much on the TG stuff time wise and that's getting to be more important than money now. To much stuff going on.

    Lol. I remember the video.

I just don't remember any threads about him having his parents buy him the truck or the committing insurance fraud part
