Haha, this happened to me before. Since then I have always said before going on the first date that we would go dutch. If we hit it off I would pay and if not then I would pay for my meal and head home.

Thanks man. I figured with enough people around it would get done in a short time regardless of the amount of prep I manage to put in. Sounds like most people are able to remove and reinstall in the same day starting from scratch.

 

Yeah I've given up on online dating but I switched to meeting for coffee or just something like a dessert as an opener if we hit it off then go out on a full scale date.

I just keep my expectations low haha. I normally went for coffee since we just met on or around campus. I would pay for those since a $3 coffee isn't detrimental.

Talking about this makes me glad I have a good girlfriend now. .

 

I'm still single but honestly I kind of prefer it that way now.

 

I'm glad I don't have to date again..

 

I save so much money being single. Also a lot less stressful haha
