I've had mine for about a month. I love it. Great step, looks cool, and intimidates the tailgaters. I've noticed a lot of people stop a little further from me with it on... And also stay a little further back.

 

Not a big difference, 21-22 mpg, my commute its 72 miles round trip

 

I have one too, works fine.

 

Here's the one I went with. Less noticeable and it matches the black beaver tail. Also has a nice rubber cap to go over the lock.

soooooo i went off roading yesterday and a few other times and whenever I've gone I've heard a grinding noise coming from the DIFF. so i finally said screw it and took it to get the diff fluid checked and what do you know i was almost 1 qrt low on fluid!!!!! so now this is yet another problem my truck has had. at this point i may have to make my own thread and list out all the time this truck has been in and what all was done! i still love tacoma I'm still just hoping i didn't get a lemon. the GSM from the dealer i got my truck from said he will call me tomorrow and let me know about the lemon law.
