So I ordered these cheap LED headlights (h4's) and they finally arrived from china. Didn't expect much from them but I at least expected them to work! I plug them in and they dont work. They will work if just barely touching the plug or if held just right.

Why is this? Any ideas or ways I can get these lights to work? Anybody have a similar experience?

I noticed after i ordered them that they "arent for headlight use"... why would they say this?

Might try wiring them correctly if they aren't already. If not, chock it up to buying cheap on something important.

Seriously though I have problems with my led tail lights. I just had to wiggle them until they stay on and carefully put if back together. No problems since.

That doesn't mean the wires inside are soldered to the right connector. Hell you might not want to report it on the interwebs. It might get back to the guy that made it and he'd have to kill himself for shitty workmanship.

Nevermind, that's the Japanese that have that much pride in their work. Carry on.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
You get what you pay for, look into some real quality lights from a company like VLed's or JDMAstor. PIAA also makes a high quality LED headlight kit, but expect to shell out around $300 for it, but at least it comes with piece of mind having a quality product with a warranty.
